Afnic rewarded by
the domain name industry

On 7 October, during the CENTR Awards 2015 ceremony, Afnic was rewarded two times for its recent contributions to the international domain name industry.

The themes of these contributions are fundamental for the association in charge of .fr domain names. On the one hand, the resilience of the Internet, with the new DNS checking tool "Zonemaster", developed with IIS, that won the "R&D" award. On the other hand, the Internet governance, with Mathieu Weill, Afnic CEO, who won the "Contributor of the Year" award for his work as co-chair of one of the working groups that form the basis of the IANA Stewardship transition process.
